Problem Statement

Modern travelers, especially Gen Z and Millennials, crave more than guidebooks or reviews. They want to connect with like-minded people, explore cities through their vibe, and make decisions driven by trust, taste, and community. Yet most travel apps are transactional, impersonal, or overwhelming.

Solution

We designed Nya, an AI-powered travel concierge built to sync with your digital universe, from playlists and saved places to social signals, and translate it into curated experiences, connections, and plans.  

Through a seamless onboarding flow, dynamic maps, social trip planning, and smart lists, Nya acts as a taste-driven, trust-first companion that unlocks real-world momentum, not just recommendations.

At the heart of Nuri is Nya, a friendly, intelligent AI agent designed to feel less like a chatbot and more like a savvy local friend. Nya helps users cut through the noise by surfacing hyper-relevant, socially-validated recommendations, whether you're planning your next night out or exploring a new city.
With a focus on context, personalization, and trust, Nya acts as the bridge between users and the experiences they actually want, helping them book, connect, and explore seamlessly.

Information Architecture

I started by mapping the site flow to visualize how users would move through the app and identify essential touchpoints. To prioritize ideas effectively, I combined the MoSCoW method (Must-have, Should-have, Could-have, Won’t-have) with Kano cards to evaluate which features would truly delight users versus those that were simply expected. This hybrid approach helped balance feasibility and emotional impact, ensuring that early design efforts focused on high-value, high-experience features, setting a clear foundation before moving into detailed wireframes and UI exploration.
